
Sophia Phillips
Sophia has years of experience in practicing mindfulness and meditation. Besides a yoga teacher, she is also a trauma-informed Birth Doula and Somatic Practitioner.
Sophia brings a grounded and calm presence, and a playful and joyful energy to the classes that she teaches. You can expect to be challenged as you are led through dynamic and fun flows, with plenty of focus on core work and functional, nourishing movement.
More than anything, Sophia is passionate about using her abundant skill set to cultivate and support her local communities, especially in supporting pregnant and newly postpartum communities.
In their free time, she enjoys attending yoga classes, building community, gardening, reading, making tea, cuddling with her cats, and connecting deeply with nature. Sophia is committed to caring for herself, her communities, and the earth that is always holding us.
