Melissa believes that Yoga aligns and balances the body, mind, and spirit, and creates a connection to creative, emotional, and spiritual well being.
Her classes are designed to work with students on fostering their connection with breath (prana) and body posture (asana).
She believes that Yoga is an ongoing process of self-discovery and aims to empower students, and that Yoga should be accessible to everyone.
Outside the studio, Melissa is an LCSW and longtime Ridgewood resident, who enjoys listening to WGBO, French fries on the beach, spending time with her two cats and being out in nature.
