Hip Hips: Yoga Tips to befriends with your hips is a practical workshop that will give us a set of tools to understand and connect with our hips in a functional way for our yoga practice and daily lives. Led by our girl Katya!!
We’ll focus on:
Alignment
Strength
Flexibility
Energy!
In 75 minutes, Katya will guide students into mobility exercises that will strengthen and increase the flexibility of the muscles around our hip joints, which is of major help when trying to ease into deep hip-opening yoga postures. She will also share knowledge about the energy points (chakras) around the hip area, to learn about the energetic significance and get a more integral perspective around them. Students will learn to listen to their bodies as they practice each pose and exercise -No more suffering in pigeon pose!!!
With anatomical insights, one-on-one assistance, and the use of props, participants will discover ways to perform these postures safely and effectively, unlocking their hips and supporting healthy hip joints. They will also learn mobility exercises that can easily be incorporated into their home practice, facilitating personal progress. Finally, students will have the chance to integrate these postures into a short flow, enhancing their understanding and maximizing flexibility.
